Get Delta.

Delta runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. It needs a license file to run: if your company has one, install Delta and open the file from the screen Delta starts on. If not, see how licensing works.

Windows

Latest version

Download for Windows
  • Windows 10 or later.
  • The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows may warn that it comes from an unknown publisher. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
  • Delta downloads new versions by itself and installs them when you close it.

macOS

Latest version

Download for macOS
  • macOS 12 or later.
  • Delta is not signed by Apple yet, so macOS will not open it the first time. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway.
  • Delta tells you when a new version is out and brings you back here for it.

Linux

Latest version

Download for Linux
  • A 64-bit (x64) distribution.
  • It is an AppImage: make it executable (chmod +x) and run it. There is nothing to install.
  • Delta downloads new versions by itself and puts them in place when you close it.

Checking a download

Each installer's SHA-512 is above. To compare, run certutil -hashfile <file> SHA512 on Windows, or shasum -a 512 <file> on macOS and Linux. Delta checks every update it downloads against a signed list of the files we released before it installs one.

For administrators

A license file put in the machine's own folder (%ProgramData%\Delta on Windows, /Library/Application Support/Delta on macOS, /etc/delta on Linux) is there for everyone who signs in. Automatic update checks can be turned off in Delta's Settings.
